While the rest of the country is bundling up and bracing for snow, we are cooling down to near perfect temperatures that make site-seeing in Southern California a snowbird’s paradise. Let us help you plan your next trip to SoCal by sharing some of our favorite local spots.

Disneyland
  article 2

The Happiest Place on Earth is right here in our backyard. We’re a family friendly company with many of us making weekend trips to the original Walt Disney theme park located in Anaheim. Lauren J., Director of Client Service Break Fix, shares, “Thanksgiving is my Mother’s favorite holiday, so we usually make way to Orange County to be with her and often include a trip to Disneyland!”

Coronado
article 3

Located in San Diego county, this resort city was founded in the 1880s. The Hotel del Coronado is an iconic beach resort recognized by its famous red roof. Famous guests like Esther Williams, Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra have stayed at the famed hotel that still feels equally as charming today as it did in yesteryear. Michael G., Market Development Manager, agrees that Coronado Island is his favorite place to visit in Southern California!

Joshua Tree National Park
article 4

The Mojave Desert and the Colorado Desert come together to create Joshua Tree National Park. If hiking, camping, and taking in the views of vast wilderness is your idea of fun then Joshua Tree should be on your bucket list. Tiffani N., Instructional Designer, shares, “It’s not terribly local, but I love to go to Joshua Tree National Park at night so I can see the Milky Way.”

Beach Day
article 5

Southern California is home to hundreds of beaches that stretch from the border of Mexico through Los Angeles County. San Diego County beaches are known for their long stretches of surf and sand, Orange County beaches are smaller in size and provide a casual vibe, and Los Angeles County beaches offer reprieve for its close to ten million residents. There is something for everyone. Sharon M., Dedicated Account Representative, says, “I recently moved from San Diego. There is nothing in this world that beats a walk on the beach in the sun.” Explore our beaches here!

Catalina Island
article 6

A short ferry ride away from Dana Point or Newport Beach, Catalina Island provides a quick escape. Avalon is a small, resort community that offers everything you need to create a perfect getaway; a top-rated spa if you need to relax, a fun beach club if you are looking to party, and thrilling ziplines for those who are seeking adventure. Kelly C., Marketing Services Manager, says, “There is something so unique about Catalina Island. I have sailed there multiple times, and every time I arrive, I feel like I’ve been transported back in time to a pristine 1930’s boardwalk and resort town. It’s so colorful and fun!”

Anaheim Packing District
article 7

Anaheim Packing District is a former citrus packing house transformed into a community gathering place featuring 20+ artisan eateries, bars, and retail vendors. With so many choices there is something for everyone in your group!

Catch a Game
article 8

This is a great time of year to catch a football, hockey or basketball game. Southern California is home the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Clippers. Join the thousands of Southern California fans and cheer on our favorite teams.

In-N-Out Burger
article 9

In-N-Out Burger is our #1 favorite thing to do. We may be biased, but this SoCal favorite produces the much-hyped best burger in the country. See what all of the fuss is about on your next trip here. Jim K., Market Development Manager, shares, “I’m not currently in SoCal, but I lived there in the 90’s. I love eating at Killer Shrimp in Manhattan Beach (I don’t think it’s there anymore) and I loved In-N-Out Burger.” Double Double Animal Style please!

Southern California offers something for everyone, but don’t take our word for it. Check it out for yourself and be sure to stop by and say hello next time you’re in town!
